Guide Editors is a small team of freelancers led by Chris Gill, editor and publisher of all the guides you see on this site. Guide Editors is his trading name.

Chris is best known as co-editor (along with Dave Watts) of Where to Ski and Snowboard, for over 20 years Britain’s market-leading ski resort guide. He has written about skiing for many magazines and newspapers, for a decade as skiing correspondent of the Independent (in the heady days when it was a proper paper).

Chris learned his craft as an editor at Which? magazine, where he became editor of Holiday Which? magazine and founded The Good Skiing Guide. (Dave followed a parallel path, editing Money Which? and then Which? magazine itself.)

It’s no surprise to learn that Chris is a keen skier. He is equally keen on sailing and walking. If you look at the publications offered here, you may detect a pattern.
